NOTICE OF ESTIMATED TAXES AND TAX RATE ADOPTION INFORMATION

Visit Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes to find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information regarding the amount of taxes that each entity that taxes your property will impose if the entity adopts its proposed tax rate. Your local property tax database will be updated regularly during August and September as local elected officials propose and adopt the property tax rates that will determine how much you pay in property taxes.

Property owners may register for notifications by visiting Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes to receive updates.  The notifications link can be found inside each individual account.

A property owner may reach out to the County Tax Assessor-Collector Kathy Phillips by emailing [email protected], calling 940-894-3601, or visiting www.montaguetax.com to obtain more information on their property.  The mailing address for the Assessor is PO Box 8 Montague, TX 76251.

2025 Tax Rate Information:

On September 16, 2025 the NGH Board of Directors adopted a tax rate for 2025 for the Nocona Hospital District of  $0.1747, effectively a 4.73% increase in the current tax rate.
